LOVE THAT REMAINS: 1 Corinthians 13:13

LOVE THAT REMAINS: 1 Corinthians 13:13

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13

February often puts a spotlight on love, but most of the time it focuses on romance or emotion. Scripture speaks about love differently. It points to love as something deeper and more lasting than feelings.

Paul tells us that faith, hope, and love remain. Not just in the good seasons, but in all of them. When plans change. When relationships feel strained. When life feels ordinary or uncertain. Love stays.

This verse reminds us that love is not fragile. It does not disappear when things feel messy or unfinished. It is steady. It is chosen. It is rooted in God.

Love shows up in small ways. In patience when you feel tired. In kindness when it would be easier to pull back. In showing up again, even when the moment feels unremarkable.

God is not measuring your life by big moments. He is present in the steady ones. The days that repeat. The effort that feels unseen.

If this season feels quiet or ordinary, let this verse reframe it. Faith, hope, and love are still at work here. And love, above all else, remains.

Prayer: God, help me live rooted in Your love today. Remind me that even the quiet moments matter. Amen.
